A stringy experience

Recently I was given the opportunity to try Sargento String Cheese by Influenster*. I am typically a Precious string cheese type of gal but figured my three brothers would gladly test out the cheese. I received the box probably two weeks ago, and inside was a coupon redeemable for any Sargento string cheese. So I made my way to Walmart and choose the Colby and Monterey Jack String cheese. I let the boys each eat a string cheese and comment on what they thought about it. Given that they are boys, and I'm convinced boys will eat near anything, they happily ate it all with no qualms and promptly asked for another. Given that they gave me absolutely no feedback except that it was good enough to eat another, I determined I'd have to try it myself. And so I did. And surprisingly enough, it was good. I did notice that it doesn't actually string off like mozzarella string cheese does, but it is still good. It has a nice blend of Monterey jack and Colby with neither necessarily overpowering the other. It was a good string cheese, and I'm planing on repurchasing it as an easy grab and go snack.

My Dasani Nails

* Disclaimer- Please ignore the bandaid on my index finger, I nicked it with a nail this morning.

So, lately my nails have been called the Dasani Water nails, and I can see why. Revlon Royal is a gorgeous royal blue jelly which I just bought from the CVS clearance sale that's going on now. (I got it for less than $2.00.) Revlon Royal is my new favorite blue. It doesn't give me lobster hands, looks awesome on, and makes a statement. I recommend everyone should go to CVS and pick it up on clearance, you wont regret it. I then sandwiched between it the lovely OPI Pirouette My Whistle which was sent to me in a Secret Santa exchange. The result? According to my friends, a dead ringer for the Dasani blue color of the bottle with the look of water sandwiched between it. And I kind of see it. Can you?

NOTD: OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest

When I thought of what I wanted my first post to be, I knew it had to be the manicure I have been wearing for the last five days. The base color is OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest. It's a gorgeous vampy wine color with red, purple, and gold shimmer that is only apparent in the sun. It's from the OPI Germany Collection, and I highly recommend this color. It actually has a purple base which surprised me because it doesn't look purple in the bottle. It's the perfect color for fall. The second stripe is Sinful Colors Black on Black which is an opaque black color. The last stripe is such a lovely nail polish. It's Wet n Wild Wild Shine nail lacquer in Hallucinate. It's a white holo glitter in a clear base. The glitter flashes blue, green, orange, and pink. It's gorgeous on black and nude/ pale pink nail polish. I did this mani by using tape to get straight lines. It's lasted me for five days and I still love it! (Usually I change nail polish every couple of days, but I can't bear to take this one off). What colors are you planning on wearing for fall?
